MARTI ICENOGLE, ARTISTI am – a miniaturist, a jewelry maker, a printmaker, a teacher/trainer, a computer geek, a retiree from the corporate world – many things. But, I am always an artist.
I have been making and selling jewelry--primarily fine silver and fused glass jewelry--since 2001. I have been teaching jewelry making glasses since 2003. I really love working with silver metal clay and am a certified Senior Instructor for Art Clay World. (Visit my ART CLAY SILVER page for more information about silver metal clay.) I also do a bit of printmaking--primarily small monotypes. Miniatures now take up most of my creative time. I have been making miniatures for about 9 years and have found the two things I most enjoy making are miniature books and miniature fine silver accessories, such as serving trays, pitchers, bowls, and picture frames. Visit MY ETSY SHOP page and I hope you will hop from there over to my Etsy shop. I allso enjoy creating small roomboxes and vignettes and have some of those on display in the GALLERY. Being a miniaturist is also about sharing our treasures. I am a member of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts and belong to two local miniature clubs—Madison Avenue Miniaturists (meets in Franklin, IN) and Hoosier Mini Makers (meets in Pendleton, IN). And, I love sharing my talents and skills with others. Visit the EVENTS/CLASSES page to see what classes I am teaching. |
